Nadia Oakley is a respected leader in the community, her alma mater, and her workplace. She is a young nonprofit professional and thought leader with experience in curriculum design, program development, implementation, and strategic partnership development.
Nadia currently serves as a Board Member and Grant Writer for The Dreamhaus Project, Inc. Nadia attained a double degree in sociology and anthropology with honors from Spelman College. While at Spelman, she was initiated into the Epsilon of Georgia Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa Society. During her time at Spelman, Nadia was highly committed to developing young people and communities of color as a Bonner Scholar and student leader. Nadia continues this commitment as she has amassed 10,000+ hours of community service, demonstrating her abilities as a civic leader.
Nadia has served in various roles with companies and community organizations that allow her to build capacity, ensuring a brighter future for children and future leaders. Nadia has an extensive community work and legal studies background, serving the Fulton County Juvenile Court, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Nadia’s primary goal in life is to work on systematically destroying all barriers that hinder opportunities for minorities and underrepresented communities.
